Ramaa Mosley is an American commercial, feature & documentary film director based in Los Angeles. A graduate of Bennington College, Ramaa is a vocal advocate for girls’ and women’s rights. She has given two TED Talks and has directed hundreds of music videos and television commercials.
Leo Burnett chose Ramaa to direct a spot for P&G’s Always #LikeAGirl award winning campaign which seeks to promote the importance of young girls’ self esteem primarily through inclusion in school sports. P&G returned in 2017 for a follow up #LikeAGirl spot featuring an all-girls robotics team.
Ramaa has done extensive shooting around the globe from remote deserts in Morocco to Cape Town, Barcelona and Chile. Often serving as her own DP, she’s nimble, collaborative and delivers authentic and gorgeous footage for her lifestyle and storytelling work.
Her most recent work includes campaigns for Weight Watchers, ESPN and an inspiring project for General Motors and Chevrolet. She interviewed a dozen of the top female CEO’s around the country, including GM’s Mary Barra, Billie Jean King, Michelle Kwan, and Fatima Goss Graves, President and CEO of the National Women’s Law Center.
